ABSTRACT:In High-speed Electric Multiple Units, more traction devices, more electrical equipments will be equipped, and higher traction power will be injected comparing to ordinary electric locomotives. Simultaneously, it leads to a worse Electromagnetic environment, which raises the importance of Electromagnetic interference and compatibility (EMC) in the overall system design. When we assess the EMC of the electrified railway, a thorough analysis for electromagnetic disturbance sources, which is the root of electromagnetic interference problems, should be treated as the primary task. There have been a lot of researches working on the disturbance sources of common electric locomotives. And dozens of publications have been announced. However, more meaningful works in the area of the electromagnetic environment of High-speed Electric Multiple Units is urgently needed. In this thesis, we focus on three typical electromagnetic interference sources.Firstly, the formation mechanism of disturbance voltage is studied, which is generated when the high-speed train passing through the split-phase region. We employ the famous circuit simulation software to analyze the equivalent circuits. The amplitude distributions of the electromagnetic interference (EMI) of the disturbance voltage in different initial phases of catenaries'voltage are obtained.Secondly, the radio disturbance with various frequency-spectrum which is generated from the pantograph and contact network when the high-speed train passing through the split-phase region is analyzed; Various models of the radio disturbance are set and analyzed by, another famous simulation software in the EMC area. Some characteristics of radio disturbance are obtained, including its radio propagation characteristics in different directions. The simulation result is evaluated by comparing with the test result of the real-train-running environment, and the error band of radio disturbance is obtained.Thirdly, a 2D-simulation model of the traction motor is set and analyzed by electromagnetic simulation software which is based on the Finite Element Method, the distributions of magnetic field around the motor in different currents and frequencies are obtained.At last but not least, all the electromagnetic interference sources mentioned above are measured. Some characteristics in time domain and frequency domain are obtained according to abundant raw-data gathered by the experiments mentioned above. The experiment results show that our simulation approach is reasonable and the simulation result is meaningful.
