When you are rambling in a forest of stupas and traditional Tibetan architectures that have golden domes, you will find some rich red walls. Compared with white walls, these walls seem to be woven with red wool, we called them " Dasiphora wall". Dasiphora walls are always in the eaves of parapet or temple palace, there are also some traditional Tibetan buildings'edge was made by Dasiphora. "Dasiphora wall" is one of the main features among traditional Tibetan buildings; They are crystallizations of Tibetans'ultimate wisdom; They are also local constructions that reflect Tibetan architects'bold innovation) environment-concerned treatment. These constructions have fine structures, exquisite workmanship, intense ideological content and artistic meaning. They are combinations of construction quality and aesthetic appearance. As the time passed by, the traditional architecture appears especially important; it's not only a portrait of long history of a nation's development, but also a crystallization of national unity, wisdom, industry and bravery. This essay focused on the feature, source, construction methods, technology, style, artistic value of Dasiphora wall, studying and researching in all dimensions in order to attract more and more people to learn about them and protect them.
