Many existing experimental researches on corroded reinforced concrete eccentric compression members show that, the bearing capacity and stiffness of eccentric compression members reduce in different degree with corrosion rate of longitudinal tensile bars increasing. Moreover, ductility of reinforced concrete eccentric compression members reduces because of reinforcement corrosion, of cause, brittle behavior of members exhibits clearly, and failure mode of reinforced concrete eccentric compression members probably changes. Therefore the bearing capacity calculation of corroded reinforced concrete eccentric compression members is very important for durability evaluation of reinforced concrete structure. Combining with the National Natural Science Foundation of China(No.50478032), following researches were done in this thesis:An accelerated corrosion test was carried out on longitudinal tensile bars in precast reinforced concrete columns in this paper. An attempt is made to study the mechanism of the structural behavior deterioration and failure characteristics of corroded reinforced concrete eccentric compression members. Base on existing calculation theory and test result analysis, relative boundary compressive region's height of uncorroded member is corrected through fitting coefficient of strain incompatibility and calculation formula for relative boundary compressive region's height of corroded member is obtained. Considering decreased yield strength, loss of corroded reinforcement and column's cross-section, descending of bond behavior deterioration, calculation method for normal section bearing capacity of corroded RC members is obtained, which provide scientific basis for durability and reliability evaluation of RC structure.
