| Separated pontoon bridge is a kind of emerging water structure, which appeared in 80s of last century in our country. At the present stage, it serves as most common water structure of the Yellow River. However, so far no specification for the construction and the use of separated pontoon bridge has been formulated, which makes the development of separated pontoon bridge constrained and can not be widely used in other fields. Therefore, this paper makes researches on direct- strength calculation and fatigue assessment of separated pontoon bridge. The experiment used to test separated pontoon bridge is carried out and the results are compared with formal calculation.This paper mainly makes researches on several aspects of separated pontoon bridge:1. Based on the working characteristics of separated pontoon bridge, the floating state of separated pontoon bridge, the load that cars running on the deck and other factors are researched. Classical state under load and load calculation of separated pontoon bridge are determined.2. Direct-strength calculation of separated pontoon bridge is researched. By the use of Finite Element Software, the model of separated pontoon bridge is built and the stress response is calculated. According to the calculation result of structure stress and consulting current structure strength standard of relative vessel specification in our country, the strength of the structure of separated pontoon bridge is assessed.3. Fatigue assessment of separated pontoon bridge is researched. By the use of S-N curves, which is commonly used in fatigue assessment and by the use of fatigue assessment, which is from Fatigue Cumulative Damage Theory, the fatigue life of separated pontoon is assessed and calculated. 4. Based on the results mentioned above, a structure experiment on separated pontoon bridge is designed. In this experiment, stress response, displacement response and other elements of separated pontoon bridge under working state can be determined. The results from experiment are analyzed and compared with that from model calculation. |
