At present, a large number of financial and material resources are invested in our country's equipment upgrading of forest fire fighting. The Long-distance aerodynamic extinguishing cannons are being developed according to China's national conditions, which has become an important and urgent task. However, there is a direct relationship between the firing performance and the design of firing mechanism. Therefore, the firing mechanism design rationale is one of the key issues to improve the overall performance of the Long-distance aerodynamic extinguishing cannon.The main contents of this article are as follows:Firstly, the research situations on firing mechanism of domestic and international Long-distance aerodynamic extinguishing cannon are analyzed in this paper. The failure reasons of the firing mechanism parts of the Long-distance aerodynamic extinguishing cannon experimental prototype are analyzed, based on structural characteristics of the Long-distance aerodynamic extinguishing cannon's firing mechanism and experimental parameters and results. At the same time, improvement designs are given in this paper, which made full preparations for the experiment of the Long-distance aerodynamic extinguishing cannon to be carried out smoothly.Secondly, a new firing mechanism overall design of the second Long-distance aerodynamic extinguishing cannon is put forward by analyzing the functional principle of the firing mechanism of Long-distance aerodynamic extinguishing cannon expremental prototype. And the firing mechanism multi-objective optimal design of institutions are carried out by using the Matlab optimization toolbox to reach the optimal solution, which made the firing mechanism design of the Long-distance aerodynamic extinguishing cannon more reasonable.Thirdly, through the finite element analysis software Anasys, the important parts of the firing mechanism of the Long-distance aerodynamic extinguishing cannon are conducted the mechanism analysis. The stress distributing graphs and aberration nephograms are obtained, which provides a theoretical basis for the reliability of the firing mechanism design.
