This paper mainly studies gyroscope combination testing technology based on PSoC (Programmable System on Chip). The system is mainly used for data acquisition, data display and data processing of gyroscope combination output signals. Aiming at shortcomings of gyroscope test system in the current,such as device complexity, many peripheral circuits, narrow range and low precision,etc, the paper researches gyroscope combination testing technology based on PSoC. This system is simple and compact, no complicated external circuit. At the same time, it takes advantage of PSoC chip which has analog modules, digital modules and dynamic reconfiguration. The system not only implements the testing of fiber optic gyroscope, but also realizes piezoelectric gyroscope testing.Firstly,this paper introduces the PSoC chip,as well as illustrates working principle and key performance indicators of the fiber optic gyroscope and the piezoelectric gyroscope; Secondly, the system's overall program is developed, the system is devided into three parts, they are data acquisition, serial communication and PC software design, and this three-part design is described in details.Finally,the system is tested and the experimental data error is analysised in this paper.For one thing, in data acquisition system, PSoC chip CY8C29666-24PVXI is used to acquire output signals of the fiber optic gyroscope combination and the piezoelectric gyroscope combination every 5ms in high-precision. Among them, with seamless polling counting,the system achieves acquisition for output signals of the fiber optic gyroscope combination. Then, in serial communication, the system configures the serial communication module UART in the PSoC chip. In addition, the system uses C language to call API functions of UART module and completes the serial driver program. Lastly, in the test computer, this system achieves data display every 1s in real-time and 5ms,1s data text storage in PC interface by VB language and serial driver program. Through the VB calling Matlab, the system finishes data processing.The test system can test 6-channel pulse output signals of the fiber optic gyroscope combination and 3-channel DC voltage output signals of the piezoelectric gyroscope combination. The testing system's test range and accuracy meets the requirements of the actual test.
