As an energy-saving device, injection afflux instrument can improve the whole unit heat economy by using high-energy emission of steam, and it also has opened up a saving and environmental way for the plant system in order to make rational use of steam and to avoid the waste of high-quality steam. Therefore, injection afflux instrument has been widely used within the plant system.Compared with other energy-saving devices, injection afflux instrument has been known for simple structure, high-quality steam saving and advantages of rapid return on investment.Considering the relative achievement about this problem abroad and at home, an experiment to test the device's energy-saving effect is carried out on no.1 and no. 2 unit auxiliary steam systems in the Datang Qitaihe Power Generating Company whose capacity is 350MW.The working condition is under 85% rated load, including a series of loads. Exergy analysis theory is introduced to do the device thermal calculation and variable condition characteristics .The calculation results show that the device has a good energy-saving effect, with a standard coal consumption rate reduction.According to the practical application, some improvement suggestions have been put forward to overcome shortcomings of existing equipment. The three-dimensional turbulent flow of numerical simulation model is established about the original and the improved using CFD. The energy saving effect evaluation can be collected from compression ratio and ejector coefficient two indexes, and according to the 350MW units actual data, the model has been validated, the results are close to the practical condition and show that, compared with the original equipment, energy saving effect is slightly improved, and can be a reference for the optimization design of the device.
