| Along with the development of freeway transportation, the traffic grows, and heavy-load transportation increasingly serious, accelerate the pavement structure of early damage and fatigue damage. Currently large early roads are close to or exceeding its design fixed number of year, facing big, in maintenance. Level road reconstruction especially secondary road reconstruction task arduous. The current old road reconstruction design work almost completely according to the current specification, have specific natural divisions area characteristic of road engineering, must study and exploration conesponding structure and material design questions to are renovation and need of rehabilitation of reconstruction design work.This thesis aims to the following problems:(1) pavement driving quality is bad, (2) excess pavement deformation; (3) between tire and road surface friction coefficient drop; (4) too much maintenance needs; (5) unacceptable user fee, (6) structure bearing capacity insufficiency, with engineering practice was studied and discussed.Overlay design, fully considered old road structural remaining life overlay structure design always is the design target. However, at present, whether based on modulus, deflection testing structure bearing capacity attenuation prediction method based on various road table, or use the attenuation performance index pavement performance prediction method, can estimate the old structure layer in original pavement stress state of residual service life, and cannot consider old pavement structure layer in that add a store of pavement structure reconstruction after the system by the load times can withstand, this just is the focus should be designed. Paper made old road asphalt layer and grassroots residual life prediction method of research, proposing some full consideration of old road residual life of the overlay design method, and an engineering instance is analyzed to verify that the reconstruction design level road has certain directive significance.
