This paper innovatively designs a mechanical self-adjustment Flow Control Valve model with simple mechanical structure, large flow rate and high control precision, and then numerically simulates this valve under different valve core displacement with CFD method. Numerical analysis uses RNGκ-εturbulence model and SIMPLE method of unstructured grid. Analyzing the outcome pressure & valve core displacement curve of the control valve by numerical simulation, the paper optimizes the design curve of this valve core continuously, and finally obtains a pressure & valve core displacement curve with high linearity.In order to further prove the high precision capability of the constant flow control valve, the paper improves the test bench using for testing the flow rate and pressure performance of the constant flow control valve. The paper experiments the constant flow control valve model, and gains a flow rate & pressure curve of the product model, which shows it is feasible that using a linear spring to achieve a constant flow rate of the valve with high precision capability.The results of theoretical derivation and experimental research also show that the constant flow rate and working pressure scale of the control valve will change according to a certain regulation when the modulus of the spring changes, but this will have little influence on the flow rate control precision. Thus, in engineering practice, it is capable to meet the demand of different pressure scale and constant flow rate by changing the spring modulus.The paper concludes the design process of constant flow rate control valve used in pipes with a diameter of 40mm, and promotes it to pipes with other diameter. With this effort, the paper realizes the target of product series design, which can benefit the application in engineering practice.The research indicates:CFD numerical simulation technology is a feasible and effective method using for the optimize design and forecast analysis of constant flow rate control valve; the constant flow rate control valve product designed by the research method combining with theory analysis fluid mechanical numerical simulation experiment research has a high flow rate control precision, and can be used in engineering practice directly.
