The Research Of ATM Interface Design On The Perception Of Old Adults

With popularity of the ATM, The ATM in the elder adults become increasingly important, but the difficulties caused by it also bring about social concern. From modern design perspective and the current Status of the use of ATM in China's aging society,this study analyze the perception of Chinese elder adults and their impact on using ATM. Using a variety of possible ways - surveys, target interviews, task analysis, etc., this study aim to identify the current deficiencies of ATM interface design and explore the design method based on the existing interface design principle, deepen the corresponding design and evaluation system. It also Provide a more systematic and targeted Principles and Methods for the design of ATM machine interface elements - text, icons, buttons, color, punctuation, hearing and interface layout organization - visual organization, consistency, depth and breadth, psychological and system models etc., putting forward for the future direction of the ATM interface design.General section as follows:The first chapter put forward the study purpose, significance, methods, basic ideas and innovation.Chapter II describes the corresponding theory the ATM interface; the relationship between ATM and elder adults; the use status and emerging problems. It also introduce the research methodology and framework for post-specific research.Chapter III analyzes definition of perception, giving "perception" in a clear definition of induction in theory,And analyze the specific"elder adults perception"impact on the use of ATM , aiming to give a clear question in this study.Through the preceding chapters the theoretical groundwork and issues raised, Chapters IV and V respectively made a specific analysis on the design of the elements of ATM interface and layout.
