In rural and urban low-voltage power supply system, It is usually unbalance between power supply and power consume, and with sharply increasing of the electricity in small-scale industries, unbalanced three-phase currents and low power factor widely exist in power supply system. This phenomenon not only affected the power quality, but also delivered significant energy consumption. So, it is necessary to take research on adjusting the three-phase unbalance and reactive power compensationThis thesis studied the crucial technology of TSC about compensation device. Start with three-phase equilibrium theory, and on this basis, we found a method which could compensate the unbalanced three-phase currents in three-phase four-wire civil low-voltage power supply system. And in accordance with the characteristics of the power parameters, we designed a rational capacitor switching programs and control strategies. We used ARM9 embedded processor-S3C2440A as TSC equipment's control part and built the system's hardware platform, including the smallest embedded systems, data acquisition, driver circuit and other hardware modules. It can get the real-time collection on the power parameters, and control them. Also we used WinCE as the embedded operating system platforms, and programming with EVC, including A/D, the control algorithm, and so on.First of all, capacitor switching and control strategy which we designed are verified the efficiency of the theory of the unbalance compensation, and then through the design and implementation of the control device, the laboratory achieves in improving the power factor compensation under the premise of unbalanced current.
