Roll bending workpiece, An important component of carrier rocket manufacturing is the major structure type of the rocket launching tubes according to the traditional manufacture process. It is by roll bending machine through the extrusion between rollers that achieved the purpose of curving. For the working need, it is essential not only to ensure the precise machining accuracy and positioning accuracy, but also the surface quality. Because the traditional roll bending machine can't meet these requirements, the purpose of this paper is to design a roll bending machine to fulfill these requirements.The thesis introduces the background and the source of this theme. The topic selection is based on the reviews of internal and external research and development situation of roll bending technology. The main contents of this paper are presented as follows:First, the overall scheme design of 6-axis rolling machine is talked over. The design is divided into three parts:major lathe bed, auxiliary lathe bed and finite element analysis of the key parts according to the assembly technological requirements. The whole arrangement structure design is finished according to the section geometric shape, processing size and install request of the workpiece.Then the most important part—roller structure is designed. The saize of the rollers, as well as the distances between major and vice rollers had been designed according to the section size and shape. The rotation angle of lathe bed had been definite according to the curvature radius to meet the requirement. At the same time, drive the roller move by hydraulic cylinder and deliver motive power to roller through chain drive. The finite element analysis module and result of key parts is listed in detail in chapter 5.This equipment is a large special non-standard assembly, it can finish automatic processing. Section had been delivered to roller by feeder. Lateral lathe bed rotating when feeding. Finite element analysis for the major rollers in the largest stress situations on the basis of the size, material, power and speed range.In line of all the designing process,3d modeling, virtual assembling, kinematics simulation of this machine are completed with Pro/E. Each key mechanical component had been element analysed and optimal designed with Pro/Mechanica. Finally, it presents the analysis and improvement of the problem during the design, simulation and optimization process of the 6-axis rolling machine including the outlook of this subject's further research.
