A new technology area has been opened up because of development of Micro Electro Mechanical Systems. Micro-sensors, micro-actuators, micro-mechanical optical devices, vacuum micro-electronic devices and power electronic devices were produced based on MEMS technology, and had a very broad application prospect. MEMS technology have been applied to in aviation, aerospace, marine, auto, biomedicine , military affairs, and almost all areas. Consequently, the key content of this article is design of Micro Inertial Integrated Navigation System based on MEMS sensors, DSP and CPLD.First, This paper analyzed background, significance and origin of the subject, and research significance of the system was made sure. Second, By analyzing characteristics and complementarity of the Micro inertial Measurement Unit (MIMU) and GPS system, the whole scheme of system was determined. Otherwise, after designs of circuit module was achieved, the hardware system had been constructed. Last, calibration and deviation compensation of MEMS sensors was achieved. Relying on adequate theoretical basis, Micro Inertial Integrated Navigation System that based on MEMS devices, DSP and CPLD had been structured. This system took high-performance floating-point Digital Signal Processor(TMS320C6713) as navigation computer, possessing advantage of handling complex algorithms of high-speed and high-accuracy. Took MEMS devices as inertial measurement equipment, the system satisfied the demand of miniaturization and precision. By debugging software and hardware, the system was achieved according to anticipative purpose. Finally, the results was proved according to application requirements after further processing. In a word, system has strongpoint of high performance, small size, low cost and low consumption. These strongpoint accord with development current of MEMS technology.
