Concrete is a brittle material, and with the strength improved, the brittleness of concrete performance more obviously. Domestic and foreign scholars on how to improve the brittleness of concrete have done a lot of research work, which reduces the brittleness of confined concrete are efficient way.As the steel wire reinforced concrete has good dispersion, by wire bonding between concrete role in the steel mesh within the concrete role of uniform strength, the steel mesh concrete has good crack resistance effect and the toughness, the enhanced Concrete is a high ductility and toughness of high-performance materials.Currently steel wire is mainly used in concrete reinforcement in engineering and some thin-walled structures. The state of confined concrete compression behavior by steel wire is not sufficiently, therefore, a study of steel wire confined concrete to improve the compressive behavior has been done.The main results in this dissertation are as follows:(1) Based on the testing results of 3 groups cylindrical specimen of steel wire confined concrete, which have different lap length of steel wire, suitable lap length was proposed.(2) Based on the testing results of 8 groups cylindrical specimen of marix strength C40 and C60, which have different protective thickness, the suitable thickness of protected was proposed.(3) Based on the testing results of 6 groups cylindrical specimen of marix strength C40 and C60 under axial compression, which have different aspect ratios, the influence to compressive behavior of aspect ratios was been study.(4) Through the of 14 groups cylindrical specimen of steel wire confined concrete under axial compression, study the influence of marix strength,cross section and steel wire diameter to compressive behavior, and analysis the forced status and failure mode of steel wire confined concrete.(5) Based on the testing, the toughness of steel wire confined concrete was been calculated, and the stress-strain curve was be described.
