| Since the 1970 s,this country has built a large number of reinforced concrete buildings.Due to various reasons such as design defects,construction quality defects,changes of using functions,and improper maintenance,many buildings have different degrees of defects such as insufficient bearing capacity and excessive deformation,which affects the normal use of buildings.Given the cost and waste of resources,these buildings cannot be completely rebuilt while the best option is to reinforce the building structure.The existing reinforcement technologies have their own advantages and applicability,but they also have their own problems.Based on this status,this study proposes a new reinforcement method——Strengthening technology of steel plate confined concrete.Steel plate confined concrete is a form of confined concrete proposed on the basis of steel pipe confined concrete.Because the proposed time is short,there are few theoretical studies and it is not sufficient to support the actual application of steel plate confined concrete technology.In order to apply the technology of steel plate confined concrete to the reinforcement project,the mechanical properties of the steel plate confined concrete and its reinforcement effect must be studied.In this study,a short column of rectangular section steel plate confined concrete is taken as the object.Through the axial compression test results of steel plate confined concrete,this study analyzes the influence of the steel plate aspect ratio,concrete strength,and the number of bolts on the mechanical properties of the steel plate confined concrete.Based on the results,the stress-strain curve model applied to the steel plate confined concrete was proposed on the basis of the classical stress-strain curve model by drawing on the research results of confined concrete.Secondly,the carbon fiber confined concrete is considered as the comparison object.The same costs of material is used as the comparison condition and to determine the experimental parameters.The basic mechanical performance tests of the concrete short column confined by steel plate and the carbon fiber are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the steel plate confined concrete technology in structural reinforcement.In the meantime,compare the reinforcement effects of the two methods by comparing the constraints of steel plates and constraints of carbon fiber on the performance of concrete short columns,the are compared.The study found that under the same material cost conditions,the reinforcing effect of strengthening technology of steel plate confined concrete is better.In this study,the basic mechanical properties of the steel confined concrete were studied,which provided the necessary theoretical basis for the application of strengthening technology of steel plate confined concrete.At the same time,the steel plate confined concrete technology was proposed for the first time in the field of building structural reinforcement.It provides a new method and idea to solve the building structure reinforcement project. |
