The development of China's current highway is very quick, and the scale of highway construction has been enormous. Because highway covers a wide range, and needs very high cost of construction, and is more easily damaged, so strict supervision of highway becomes necessary. Regulation of driving vehicle in highway involves many aspects, such as: type identification,speed identification,overloaded identification , and so on. Researching on vibration wave that is caused by driving vehicles in highway can contribute to study on the small and unmanned device for state identification .this device can solve some of the blind spot that monitoring network in highways can't cover in remote highway segment, and unavoidable defects of video surveillance ,which can't work effectively in the fog snowy weather ,and night.This topic is to explore that seismic wave that is caused by traveling vehicle in highway is introduced to the state identification theory . This thesis is basis on the research project that is called "computer detection system whose sensors are made up of fiber-optic sensor array is to be used in detectting overloading and over-speeding vehicle in highway ". This project is owned to Jiangxi Provincial Science & Technology department.This paper not only analyses the seismic signals caused by traveling vehicle in highway, but also combines the seismic theory with feature of remote unmanned monitoring network in highway. This topic has researched on state identification of traveling vehicle based on shock waves caused by driving vehicle in freeway. Based on Digital Signal Processing platform, this paper builds the signal acquisition system, and processes the signal through software filtering, and de-noising. Based on Digital Sigital Processing platform, this thesis adopts signal analysis of the zero-crossing in time-domain, and figures the speed of traveling vehicle and value of signal zero-crossing. At the same time, this thesis adopts spectral analysis in frequency domains, for instance, auto-correlation power spectrum estimation,periodogram power spectrum estimation,AR model for power spectrum estimation,wavelet decomposition of signal energy spectrum analysis,Hilbert-Huang Transform to solve the signal IMF component and the signal time-frequency distribution; Based on a variety of features of signals extracted , this paper analyses and designes the Fisher classifier.Finally,This paper makes decision based on the results of classifier, and carries out the goal which has been raised by this paper.It contributes theoretical foundation to build small-scale,unmanned installation.Finally, the state identification of traveling vehicle on the basis of shock wave that is caused by traveling vehicle provides an effective monitoring method and data evidence for highway safety management, and efficient operation for technical support.
