The quality of prebaked cell for aluminum-reduction with the carbon anode has an important impact on technical and economic indexes in aluminum electrolysis production. Compared with foreign advanced level, the quality of our country's prebaked anode cell obviously gets behind, has become a key factor which restrains our country's aluminum electrolysis industry development. According to the nine-year practical experience by China Aluminum Corporation in Henan branch charcoal ink factory's quality export anode, the article is aimed at the practical problems encountered in the production, studying up on the tap density of the granular formula in the calcined petrol coke drier, searching the granular formula for the industrial production by orthogonal experiment; taking data analysis and research about the impact of the reaction between the calcined petrol coke powder by the resistance and CO2 simultaneously, expecting to find the effective ways of improving CO2 anodic reaction. The main research and results are as follows:â‘ Research on the tap density of the granular formula in the drier, and several have better tap density formula can be industrialized. The curve is composed by the size distribution and the screening cumulative percentage of the formula. When they have linear relation, the tap density of the formula will be maximal.â‘¡Research on the relationship of the reaction loss between the calcined petrol coke powder by the resistance and C02,when the powder relative to the resistance decreases to a certain value, the reactivity of the carbon dioxide in the calcined petrol coke begins to rise instead of to fall, in order to control the reactivity of the carbon dioxide in the calcined petrol coke. Its powder by the resistance must be controlled within the right scope.
