The original lower position extractor has been unable to adapt the need of big fall in pusher furnace, higher position extractor developed and applied successfully, solved the difficult problem of the scuffing of slab's undersurface when it was slipping on landslide, so it improves eligibility ratio of steel plate and reduces inspection times of the roll table, has obtained the good economic efficiency.Higher position extractor designed and studied for MaSteel Medium-thick plate plant is the pulling equipment for pusher furnace. It locates upward the furnace delivery table. L-hook used to deliver slabs into the reheating furnace directly and delivers out slabs and layers-aside it smoothly on the furnace delivery table.According to process requirements of Higher position extractor and local practical situation, this article establishes the program of Higher position extractor. Design, development and study about mechanical equipment, hydraulic system is completed. Hydraulic lifting system of L-hook adopts electro-hydraulic proportional control system. It is characterized by stability, accuracy, full automation. This article regarding this higher position extractor installment design, the structure and the principle has carried on the detailed introduction.Lifting L-hook is key part of higher position extractor, and it bears load directly when the machine works. In order to assure operating life and safe reliability of the machine, utilizing ANSYS finite element program, the paper analyses the linear and static strength of L-hook, and masters the regularity of deformation and stress distribution, also stress state of danger zone; and its structure is optimized to have enough strength assurance coefficient and processing rationality. Finally, more proper structure is confirmed.According to the theoretical model of drive system which established on rational predigestion, numerical analysis of the torsional vibration is gave. The result validated it is impossible to cause the electromotor and gearbox to resound. So the system can run smoothly theoretically.This study is gave actual significance for settling actual question faced by MaSteel medium-thick plate plant in time, it can also provide reference and basis for the study of complex parts of metallurgical equipment.
