This paper presented the current status and trends of development in iron and steel industry, as well as methods and means of research and background of theory. It showed the experiment principle, equipment and element theory of the spectum of internal friction. And the same time, it stated the experiment process of the stuied topic including preparation of sample summarize and analysis of internal friction spectum. New phenomena had been reported in experiment mainly divided into four aspects. The curve of internal friction spectum become high wth the less of niobium after the samples were heated 960℃and released the N(C). the dackground of spectum of internal friction was high without magnetic fields when the temperature descented, on the other hand the background of spectum of internal friction was high in magnetic fields when temperature advanced. After 760℃; keept warm for an hour to do quenching processing, discovered the sample Snoek peak to be very high in Fe-Nb-C. There were double peaks between 180℃and 330℃, and the peak in 235℃was concerned the level of Nb. Especially we found that there were two forms martensite and ferrite after we studied the OM of the sample which keept warm for an hour in 760℃to do quenching and we discussed the the questions as above.
