It has been the ultimate goal, since the time the decontamination technique was developed, to find a rapid detoxifying and broad spectrum agent that would be the least corrosive and contaminating and as environmentally friendly as possible.Presently our army has not studied these silica gel agents. To resolve the decontamination of GD using these agents we used the domestic fumed silica as the carrier of the gel agents and used the Advanced Oxidative Technology (AOT) to introduce nucleophilic peroxide.We explain the general assumptions and the specific project and aim and significance of the papers. We formulate and design the peroxide catalyst decontamination in silica gels. We use five kinds of peroxide and four kinds of metal salts and the target agents are formed.We used domestic fumed silica A-380 as the gel agent carrier. We then study the effect of each element on the viscosity of the gels in gel agents. The range of each element is determined; and the emulsification of toluene and solubilization of HD in A-380 is discussed. We also discuss the hydrolysis of HD, VX, and GD in gels. Parts of hydrolytic products are analyzed and then demonstrate the chafing and chapping of gels.We study different kinds of peroxide on the decontamination of HD, VX, and GD and its use with our catalytic peroxide decontamination system. Use EPR technique to measure the hydroxyl radicals generated from peroxides through catalysis of metallic salt. Strength is compared of the intensity of hydroxyl radicals and ascertain the product of the catalytic peroxide decontamination system. Continue to study different formulas to decontaminate to 2-CEEs, HD, VX and GD. Establish the formulation of the catalytic peroxide decontamination system in silica gel.We use the perpendicular experimentation (or straight-crossed method) for optimization of the formula and confirm the formula of the decontamination function to HD and VX. The goal is to increase, the highest extent possible, the decontamination function to GD, and copper (II) sulfate, and Cu2+ amount. Finally we measured the ratio of decontamination efficiency, and fixed the formulas. We use LC-MS, GC, and GC-MS Method to measure the decontamination system in silica gel to 2-CEES, HD, VX, and GD detoxified products from theory to verify the mechanism of catalytic peroxide decontamination.We summarize the entire papers; and get our major conclusion of silica gel decontamination and finally discuss the silica gel decontamination system for the future.
