Kneading can be divided into intermittent and continuous kneading machine. Intermittent kneading machine contains small kneading machine, arms kneading machine, refining machine, and so on. Continuous kneading machine also has many types, such as single-screw extruder, twin-screw extruder, Buss Kneader kneading machine, the M-P-kneading machine, ZSK double helix kneading machine, and this paper will focus on the vertical biaxial cooling kneading machines. Compared to intermittent kneading, there is high production efficiency, pollution-free, and many other advantages in continuous kneading machine.Biaxial strong cooling and kneading machine is important carbon process equipment, which can mix dry carbon power and the melt asphalt materials together and make them uniformly. However, the mixed effect of the old equipment is not satisfactory, which is not all carbon power and asphalt mixed completely. It may be a big problem for the follow-up production of cathode.Based on the mapping of the main components of present kneading machine, we forced on the stirred knife that is one of the most important components of the mixing equipment, which was analyzed from the theory and identified the suitable angle of blade installed. And then we analyzed the different parts of the different high level of the stirred knife and made adjustments and improvements to the knife.The layout mode of this machine with both shafts was studied in this paper. To make the materials better circulation in barrels, we optimize the distribution layout, which contain both the installation layout of the single axial leaves and the relative position of biaxial layout.Finally, ASAQUS is used to simulate the force that added to the stirred knife. By the finite element analysis model we can simulate the stress of stirred knife and compare the different of stress characterize distributions that the original knife and the optimization ones. Based on the cloud picture of stress analysis to determine welding layout of pieces of carbide, better adapt to stir requirement.
