The Art Research Of Wang Jing’s Knife Drawing On Paper

Paper cut painting on coated paper is a brand new and unique type of painting,and it is an art of blade dance on a coated paper and an innovation of the new era.Nowadays,Shenyang has been identified as the birthplace of paper cut painting culture by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and other departments.Wang Jing,as the originator of paper cut painting,has been engaged in it for 24 years and painted hundreds of paintings of all sizes.An array of lively pictures is painted with a small blade by using the techniques of Chinese elaborate-style painting and coloring and leaving scratches on a coated paper.Paper cut painting is chosen as the object of this study because it is a whole new form of art and it is hoped to reveal what kind of artistic thought that Wang Jing has to create this form of art through an exploration of paper cut painting,what expressive techniques that she uses to shape paper cut painting,and the artistic exploration on the theme,content,thought,expressive technique and other aspects of the works,thus conducting an in-depth exploration of the artistic value of paper cut painting to the creating process of folk fine arts.This is the reason why this study is chosen.The paper adopts research techniques such as literature review,work description and analysis.The author interviewed Wang Jing through the referral of the tutor,and studied the crafts,materials and tools,artistic characteristics,and the meaning expressed of her presentative works.By paying close attention to documents about paper cut painting,relevant portfolios and related information,the author also tried to learn paper cut painting,thus gaining an understanding and knowledge of paper cut painting crafts and painting techniques,which gives the study of this project sufficient subjective and objective conditions and a practical basis.It is hoped that the study of paper cut painting will help integrate the new art form of paper cut painting organized and summarized and social service.Besides,it discusses what inspirations that the current art making in the field of Chinese painting has brought to this kind of technique of expression,which is the characteristic of this study.This paper mainly expounds on four aspects.First,the origin of paper cut painting,its early art form,the identification of the birthplace of paper cut painting,its art form and influencers during its development are analyzed.Second,a systematic analysis is also conducted on expressive techniques of paper cut painting,craftsmanship,images presented and other dimensions.Next,in-this study conducts an in-depth dissection and argumentation of image shaping and emotional implications of the representative works of Wang Jing in terms of paper cut painting techniques and ideas such as composition,style,line and coloring.Then,the presentation of paper cut painting from a female perspective,feminine artistic style and emotional expression,and exploration and innovation in ordinary life are elucidated.At last,the meticulous craftsmanship of paper cut painting,the inheritance of artistic spirit,the spiritual needs of the times,the idea of integrating it with social service and the future development of paper cut cutting are analyzed.It concludes that the ideas and means of artistic expression displayed in the paper cut paintings of Wang are of referential value to the present folk artistic creation,and her artistic thinking of learning from history and present also brings significant inspirations to the new forms of art making in China today.
