The study of ozone concentration in urban is one of the most important research topics on environmental science.With the increase of nitrogen oxides and hydrogen-carbon compounds which were exhausted from cars, the ozone concentration in urban increase obviously on sunlight, and pollution of photochemistry smog will be possible. Therefore, it is very important to study the ozone pollution characters and Influncing Factors To gain some understanding of the ozone pollution conditions the regular patterns of the ozone pollution in Liao zhong area, in order to formulate the controlling mechanisms, this study utilized online automatic observing system.Using this system, we carried out observations for the ozone concentration, its precursors and several meteological parameters from February 2007 to January 2008. We also carried out data selection and data management. Based on the characteristics of the variation of various polluting materials and the meteorological data on both minute and hourly basis, we conducted relevant analyses and factor analyses using a statistical software Origin, using which, we obtained ozone pollution characters as well as the basic law of the ozone precursors and meteorological elements affecting the ozone concentration.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1) The ozone hourly concentration is between 0.001 to 0.329mg/m3, mainly distributed in the 0.001 to 0.012mg/m3. The ozone concentration in the surface layer has an obvious diurnal variation, it ranges from 0.0167 to 0.0720mg/m3. The diurnal and monthly mean values of ozone concentration show that there are distinct differences in different seasons.it reaches the peakmostly in summer,The values in winter and spring are clearly lower than those in other seasons.The maximum of ozone daily average concentration is stands on July 7th,2007. Ozone concentration observed at weekend is obviously different from that on weekday, and the weekend has the higher concentration.(2) The influencing tendency of one factor on the ozone concentration can be subdivided into three categories. Air temperature and velocities of wind exhibit proportional relationship. Diurnal congcentration of O3 and NOx, NO2, NO, CO show reversal proportional relationship. Daily variations of O3 and CO, NOx, VIS, RH as well as diurnal congcentration of O3 and NO2/NO have no obvious relationship.
