Sewage pump is an efficient sewage equipment, can be used for the extraction of feces, feces and sewage. Because of the special working environment, the driving system of the sewage pump usually needs to have the characteristics of high power, wide speed regulation range and frequent stop and so on. With the progress of science and technology, sewage pump will become small and lightweight, moving more flexible, the function will become more and more perfect and rich, the performance requirements of its drive system will also be improved.Switched reluctance motor is a hot research topic in the field of electric drive. Existing products have been in the aviation industry, electric vehicles, household appliances, textile machinery and coal field equipment, and many other fields. It can be predicted that in the near future, switched reluctance motor will be more widely used. The switched reluctance motor and its driving system are studied and designed in this paper. According to the performance index of a certain WL type vertical sewage pump, a 5kW switched reluctance motor and its speed control system are designed. First, review the development history of switched reluctance motor, introduce its current situation, trend and related basic theory. The influence of the structural parameters of the motor on the vibration and noise is discussed, and the design of the prototype is completed by software SPEED; Using two-dimensional finite element method to study the static characteristics of the prototype, the electromagnetic field variation law and the excitation mode, and using MATLAB/SIMULINK to establish the model of the prototype speed governing system. A combined speed control strategy is proposed, and the prototype can be switched on the basis of the actual speed. Taking into account the switching angle will affect the output performance of the switched reluctance motor, this paper analyzes the angle of the prototype, to provide a theoretical basis for improving the control of the motor. Finally, the common faults of switched reluctance motor are studied. The model of switched reluctance motor system proposed in this study is universal, which can provide reference for the design and research of mechanical power plant for wastewater environment.
