Cellulose acetate fiber is the second regenerated cellulose fiber and its amount is only inferior to viscose fiber in the cellulose fibre, it is a green fiber. Cellulose acetate fiber has the advantages of non-toxic, tasteless, good moisture absorption and the higher filtration efficiency. More and more researchers have been engaged in the research of cellulose acetate fiber. At present, the research of cellulose acetate fiber focuses on cellulose acetate short fiber blend yarn, modification of cellulose acetate fiber and cellulose acetate electrostatic spinning technology. Research in the field of nonwoven filter material made from cellulose acetate fiber is also small.This topic based on the study of the nonwoven filter material made from pure cellulose acetate fiber, against low strength of cellulose acetate fiber, mixed small proportion of polylactic acid fiber that is also a kind of green fiber in order to increase the intensity of the cellulose acetate fiber nonwoven filter material. First, the related property of cellulose acetate fiber and polylactic acid fiber was studied. And then on this basis, the preparation methods of nonwoven filter material was discussesd, the working principle of its process and process parameters design introduced. Finally, the properties of cellulose acetate fiber nonwoven filter material were studied. The contents and conclusions are as follows:(1) The fineness, crimp, cross section shape, strength and elongation, moisture regain, ect.were tested, analyzed the characteristics of cellulose acetate fiber was analyzed emphatically. All of these provide the basis for make full use of fiber characteristics in terms of product development.Results show that cellulose acetate has Y type cross section, a large volume of curvature and good hygroscopicity, but its trength is low.(2) The preparation technology of cellulose acetate fiber nonwoven filter material was designed, mainly includes:carding preparation process, carding process, lapping process, needle-punching process, spunlace process and hot rolling process. Cellulose acetate fiber nonwoven filter materials with different processing craft and different material parameters were made.(3) Performance of cellulose acetate fiber filter materials made by different process were tested and results analyzed.The results show that the cellulose acetate fiber and polylactic acid fiber mixed spunlaced nonwoven materials has the better performance.(4) By changing linear density, fiber length and mixed ratio of cellulose acetate fiber and the thickness of the material, studies the influence law of linear density, fiber length and mixed ratio to tensile strength, permeability, filter efficiency, filter resistance and of cellulose acetate fiber and polylactic acid fiber mixed spunlaced nonwoven materials.(5) Optimized the filtration efficiency of cellulose acetate fiber/polylactic acid fiber spunlaced nonwoven based on Box-Behnken experiment design method of response surface methodology and use the Design-Expert software.Established the mathematical model. Through the model analyzed and forecasted the filtration of the material efficiency, get the best process parameters.
