Abstract/Summary:
In this paper, 45 steel pins / W18Cr4V ring friction pair as the main object of study, using modified post-MPV-1500 friction and wear testing machine model to study the magnetic field under the condition of 45 steel pins / W18Cr4V ring friction and wear properties.Experimental results show that the magnetic field can significantly improve the ribological properties of 45 steel, the magnetic field strength, sliding speed, load, affecting the composition of the 45 steel pairs of the tribological properties of the important factors, specifically as follows:The effects of different magnetic field intensity on the impact of friction and wear. As the magnetic field strength increases, the friction coefficient gradually decreased tendency to lower the rate then increased wear trend. The effects of different sliding speed of magnetic field on friction and wear effects. As the speed increases, reducing the friction coefficient and wear volume decreased. With and without magnetic field are true, the magnetic field under the condition of the friction coefficient and wear volume smaller than that without magnetic field. The effects of different loads, the impact of magnetic field on friction and wear. As the load increases, lower friction coefficient and wear amount increased. With and without magnetic field are true, the magnetic field under the condition of the friction coefficient and wear volume smaller than that without magnetic field.Study compared the annealed 45 steel and normalized 45 steel at different speeds, different magnetic field strength, different friction and wear when the wear time of impact. With the speed, time increased, the friction coefficient reduced, wear increased, annealing 45 steel and 45 steel normalizing no significant differences; with the magnetic field strength increases, annealed 45 steel to reduce friction coefficient and wear volume reduction after the first increase in normalizing coefficient of friction of 45 steel to reduce wear and tear volume. During the trial within the framework of the magnetic field intensity, normalizing 45 steel friction and wear performance is good. This combination of test results, to discuss a magnetic field affect the laws of friction and wear under different conditions, the main mechanism is proposed under the experimental conditions, when the magnetic field causes a reduction in mill increase in the proportion is actually oxidation wear.
