| The thesis consists of five chapters.Chapter one is a brief review on the application of epoxides in organic synthesis in recent years. Since epoxides can have ring-opening reactions with various nucleophiles, affording many important organic and pharmaceutical intermediates. And the opening-ring reaction of epoxides enjoys many advantages, such as simple, high atomic economy, stereoselectivity and good regioselectivity etc. Therefore, it has been widely applied to various organic synthesis reactions. In chapter two, recent advances of synthetic methods forβ-hydroxy selenides were reviewed. Then Rongalite(?) promoted solvent-free synthesis ofβ-hydroxy selenides by grinding is studied, which has simple operations, eco-friendly, high regioselectivity and yields. In chapter three, recent advances of synthesis ofβ-hydroxy sulfides from disulfides and epoxides were reviewed. Then base-free tandem synthesis ofβ-hydroxy sulfides under ultrasound irradiation was developed, which enjoys high yields and good regioselectivity. In chapter four, recent advances of synthesis ofβ-hydroxy sulfides by the ring-opening reaction of thiophenols with epoxides were reviewed. Then the method for the synthesis ofβ-hydroxy sulfides was developed in the present of PEG-400. The present reaction enjoys mild conditions, easy operation, eco-friendly, short reaction time and high yields.Chapter five introduces the experiment. General procedures of experiment for the synthesis ofβ-hydroxy selenides andβ-hydroxy sulfides have been described. |
