Polymerization ofα-decene catalyzed by TiCl4/Al (Et)2Cl to prepare polymer alpha olefins was studied in this paper. The kind of solvents, main catalyst type, the Cocatalyst type, catalyst dosage, Al/Ti mole ratio, reaction temperature and reaction time were investigated. The results showed that TiCl4 / Al (Et)2Cl showed high activity in oligomerization ofα-decene as raw material preparation of alpha olefins oil. Ratio of PAO was increased with increasing solvent polarity; Applicable as catalyst, income, and with high polymer yield catalyst increases, polymer yield increasedAluminum titanium product of viscosity influence than by changing significantly, Al/Ti mole ratio, can clear regulation product viscosity; Temperatures cause side reaction intensified and target product performance, so the reaction process should be appropriate control reaction temperature; With the extension of reaction time, yield was increased continuously with the reaction time increasing, and viscosity, but isomerization process obvious, reaction time shoulds not be too long. Withα– decene as raw materials, TiCl4 / Al (Et)2Cl preparation for catalyst in solution polymerization of alpha olefins oil together the reaction conditions:the mass catalyst in reaction 3.5%, reaction temperature 50℃, reaction time 4 hours. yield of PAO is 85.19%, viscosity index is 167.Using 1H-NMR characterized the product. 1H-NMR results show that the products contained high methylene with the long-chain alkane.This paper toα- decene preparation of alpha olefins oil provides theory basis for further industrialization, laid a theoretical basis.
