| As the carbon source of influent is insufficient, the problem of bad denitrification and low removal percentage of TN are widely existed in most wastewater treatment plant of south. Optimization of WWTP technics will be paid more attention with that the sewage discharge standard is stricter and the demands of recycled water are increasing day after day.The ultimate purpose of the study is to protect the water quality of DongJiang. The characters of wastewater in the upper waters of the DongJiang were investigated and studied. In view of the characters that the influent concentration of COD (or BOD) are very low and the standard of effluent is very strict, the energy saving,economical and high efficiency operation conditions are explored in a wastewater treatment plant of south. After the study, some experiences on the operation of WWTP and the specific parameter on optimization technics will be got. The effluent quality can steadily satisfy the standard of effluent after the process of WWTP was optimized.The detailed content of the study are as follows:(1) The characteristics of the study area were studied;(2) According to the research on the effect of treatment at present, the main problems of the process were found--low concentration of COD (or BOD),low MLSS of the biological treatment system,serious loss of sludge as a result of bad character of the microbe,bad effect of nitrogen removal especially the denitrification;(2) In view of the problems of the process, optimization schemes were put forward—add external carbon source to strengthen denitrification of A~2O,add special stuffing to strengthen denitrification of advanced treatment,add PAM to reduce the loss of sludge and improve the character of the microbe;(3) Optimization schemes were used in practice and the sewage treatment system was evaluated after the process was optimized. After the process operated stably for some time, the effluent quality satisfies tertiary discharge standard of environmental quality standards for surface water.The characteristics of the study area are low concentration of the influent COD (or BOD) and strict standard of sewage. This kind of wastewater is very typical in the upper waters of the DongJiang and south, so the study has practical significance. It can provide a reference to treat the similar wastewater. |
