The situation of river pollution in our country becomes more and more severe, which already affected the production and life of people. Our country has already highly concentrated in the river contamination, in the Outline of the Eleventh Five-Year Plan, making the prevention and planning for principle river pollution such as "Three rivers and three lakes",Three Gorges Reservoir Area, upper and middle reaches of Yellow River and so on which obtain certain achievements. In the Outline of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, our country continue to set up the goal to strengthen the reduction of total emissions, improve the environmental quality,prevent the environmental risks.Xinan River is the main river, which links guangzhou and foshan, Xinan River region because of industrial and agricultural production and rapid urbanization, water pollution, plus the sewage treatment plant constantly aggravate seriously backward, makes the construction for many years has been cannot achieve water quality in Xinan River water requirement, function of COD, ammonia nitrogen and phosphorus overweight, including ammonia nitrogen and phosphorus exceeds bid badly.This paper does a research on the history of Xinan River and currently pollution situation and conducted a detailed investigation and monitor analysis for the Main River and related branches of the Xinan River, which makes us learn about the situation of the pollutions. At the same time, this paper conducts an investigation for the pollutant sources, a detail survey for the composition and layout of the industry, the volume and quality of discharge sewage; additionally, monitor the main pollutants and features pollutions and make a research on how the composition and layout of the industry influences the water quality of Xinan River.Based on this, this paper also purposes corresponding control technology measures for the pollution of Xinan River.1. Engineering measures, mainly including the construction of wastewater treatment plant in industrial park, and the technology advice of wastewater treatment in the main pollution industry.2. Management measures, establishing the normalization of monitoring and evaluation system for water pollution prevention, Establishing the internal development system for the prevention of the river pollution, formalizing the long-term mechanism for the enterprise to reduce the discharge of pollutions, Establishing new across administrative environmental cooperation mechanisms for river basin, implementation of comprehensive treatment pilot for the river basin, strengthen information disclosure and public participation, improving the legal system for the prevention and control of water pollution etc. And make corresponding estimates to the effects of reduction for every measure.Through this paper study concluded that:1, the Xinan River functional zoning requirements, water quality standards are not inferior V classes,, among them with ammonia nitrogen and phosphorus is most serious.2, Xinan River industrial pollution situation is more serious, sewage treatment facilities construction lag, including hardware, chemical, paper manufacturing, printing dyeing industries, the most serious pollution of the whole basin its drainage socioeconomic industrial pollution 75%. Judging by industrial park sanshui center technology industrial park of the whole basin, the biggest waste of industrial waste.79 Three, industry composition and industrial layout of pollution of Xinan River have a major influence.4, intensify industrial park sewage plant construction, for the current Xinan River pollution.
