Since carbon nanotubes were found, nanotubes have already been widely studied due to their excellent properties, such as special direct electronic transmission ability and biocompatibility etc, thus they have potential applications in the area of nano device, nano catalysis, nano sensor etc. Furthermore, considering room temperature ferromagnetic of ZnO diluted magnetic semiconductor, and becomes the main candidate for spin electronic devices. Therefore, in this paper we prepared Zn nanotubes based on anodic alumina (AAO) using a direct current electrodeposition technique, and obtained ZnO nanotubes by air annealing treatment. On this basis, we also fabricated NiZn alloy nanotubes and NiZnO nanotubes using the same method. The microstructure and physical properties were also investigated by XRD, EDS, SEM, TEM, PPMS and SPM. The main results are shown as follows:1. The relationship of AAO templates to the electrolyte components, concentration, pH value and oxidation voltage were discussed. SEM and SPM were used to characterize the morphologies of the AAO templates. The results show that the holes in the AAO templates synthesized in H2SO4 and C2 H2O4 electrolyties are regular, while the channels in the AAO templates synthesized in H3PO4 divaricate easily. The relationship of the AAO template hole diameter: d硫酸草酸磷酸.2. Based on AAO template, Zn nanotubes were fabricated using the direct current electrodeposition technique. XRD,SEM and TEM were used to characterize the structure. We think the formation mechanism of Zn nanotubes due to the fact that dynamic factors are greater than thermodynamic factors. On this basis, we obtained ZnO nanotubes by changing the different air annealing temperature. XRD results show that ZnO nanotubes are hexagonal wurtzite structure, and further discussed the relationship between the formations of ZnO nanotubes with the annealing temperature.3. Based on AAO template, NiZn nanotubes were successfully fabricated using the direct current altogether electrodeposition technique. XRD,SEM and TEM were used to characterize the structure. We think the formation mechanism of NiZn nanotubes is as same as that of Zn nanotubes. On this basis, we obtained NiZnO nanotubes by the different temperature air annealing process. XRD results show that NiZnO nanotubes are hexagonal wurtzite structure. We found that the samples present room temperature ferromagnetic by PPMS, and discussed the relationship between ferromagnetic magnetic parameters and the annealing temperature.
