With the composite material widely be used in industrial production,in order to improve production efficiency and the utilization of composite materials,auto manufacturing technology of composite material also appear.As a kind of composites,fiber reinforce plastic has many advantages,such as light weight,high strength,easy processing of shape,good corrosion resistance,good fatigue resistance and so on,its application prospect in industry is very broad.At present,it has been widely used in industrial production.Automated fiber placement technology include automated placement tow forming technique and automated narrow-band placement forming technique,it is based on the wind and placement,it can placement continuous variable angle and large curvature of complex components.Abroad,the development of automated fiber placement technology already quite mature, the most advanced automatic fiber placement equipment can placement lots of fiber,each fiber can be independent compressed,fed,sheared and pressured,but it is still starting stage in china,we need to research our own intellectual property rights'fiber placement equipment.The Fiber placement equipment of this project include placement head devices, multiple joint human simulation robot arm and auxiliary devices,etc. Placement head devices is the core of fiber placement equipment,it main role is to provide placement pressure,it includes many placement boots devices,every fiber has a placement boots, Placement boots devices include ball screw unit,the spring-based pressure and buffer feedback adjustment device flexible axle and electrical machine,etc.Multiple joint human simulation robot arm include five movable joints,five jotins linkage control placement trace. Auxiliary device include compression device,feeding device and shearing device, it main role is fiber supply and compression and restransmission of after cutting.The paper completed the structural design of fiber placement equipment,Using the software of Pro/E designed components of fiber placement equipment and assembled it, using Pro/E make motion simulation of fiber placement equipment,it were used to simulate the movement of fiber placement equipment. Using ANSYS analyze the key components of fiber placement equipment, key components include placement boot header of the placement boots devices and screw of the ball screw unit, placement boot header of the placement boots devices make structural static analysis,and screw of the ball screw unit make structural modal analysis, obtained its analysis results,and the results of the analysis was analysed,find out deficiencies and defects of mechanism design.
