Furniture Modeling Method Research

Modern furniture design is the product of the industry revolution, it moves forward with the development of science and technology, especially with the advent of information age. Modern furniture design has beyond the mere practical value, much more new configuration, more considerate of human nature and human implication,more intelligent of furniture production,which make the furniture designer focus on the concept design of furniture modeling, as far as possible to make the furniture avant-garde and fashionable, pay more attention to line composition and structure of the modeling, the use of colors match the environment, materials are widely applied, modeling design can be ever-changing.This paper illustrates main idea progressively,which make the furniture modeling elements and aesthetic form as the starting point, follow the design purpose of people-oriented,proposes the intent of furniture design and the restrictions, discusses the impact of environment on the furniture, furniture contrast to the environment。Summarize the modeling design method of interspersion and arrangement,bionic and simulation,interesting,folding and so on, take the examples in detail one by one, apply to design practice. Participants in furniture design will get inspiration and reference value, furniture production follow the trend of epoch, improve the market competitiveness of furniture products, to meet the aesthetic needs of public.One key match a lock, solve different question require different approach. Therefore, this article advocates purpose-aimed flexible, multi-method, against mechanical, rigid, monistic approach.
