Isophorone is an important fine chemical material,and it is widely used in chemical industry, medicine and etc. But the domestic needs of isophorone is based on import. The vapor-phase method of synthetizing isophorone has vast potential for future development,which is also a green technology route. The magnesium aluminum composite catalysts are prepared by coprecipitation.The reaction of synthetizing isophorone by acetone is carried through a static bed.The analysis of catalyst and reaction products contains : IR,XRD,GC,GC-MS and etc. This article makes a investigation on the influence of Mg:Al, hydrolyzing temperature,coprecipitation solution's PH and calcination temperature to catalysts and the influence of reation temperature, acetone velocity and catalyst to the results. The best preparation conditions of catalyst are : Mg:A1=3:1,hydrolyzing temperature is 80℃,coprecipitation solution's PH is 9.5,calcination temperature is 500℃. The research of critical elements is carried on to the reation by single factor experiments. The optimal reation terms by orthogonal tests are : reation temperature is 340℃, acetone velocity is 0.15ml/min,catalyst is 9.5g.This article which is on the basis of reaction mechanism discusses the kinetics of synthetizing isophorone by acetone and also figures up the reaction kinetics parameters:k,Ea,etc.
