Magnesium alloy as the "21st century green metal structure materials", is used widely in the automotive industry, communications, electronics and aerospace industry and other fields. In recent years production of magnesium alloys, annual growth rate of 20%in the world, showing a great prospect. Magnesium alloy material is more potentialing and promising, with deformation can be produced a variety of plate sizes, tubes, rods and products of profiles, through control of the material organization and heat treatment, get better than the cast magnesium alloy material ductility, the mechanical properties of a more diversified, higher intensity to meet the need for more structure.The effect of temperature and strain on rolling process were investigated in AM50 magnesium alloy rolling process by numerical simulation. Through simulation, it is found that discoveried when temperature was above 400℃, the first strain was below 30%, a well product can be get of rolling was well.Based on the simulation results, the extrusion and rolling process were investigated, the accuracy of parameter and model were further confirmed. Through the extrusion, the heat treatment, the rolling experiment, the microstructure were observed. Through the scanning electron microscope analysis and the cupping testing, the influence rule of the different technics to microstructures and properties in the rolling process were researched.The experiment indicates:compared with casting magnesium alloy microstructure, grain after the extrusion is finer and more uniform, and the separation distributes evenly along the crystal boundary. After solid solution treatment magnesium alloy micro-structure and the mechanical properties are improved.The influence of the different solution heat-treatment craft on AM50 magnesium alloy plate's elongation ratio is very big. In order to obtain the best plasticity, advantageous in the rolling, the best solution heat-treatment craft is 410℃and keeps for 4 hours. No matter is the extrusion, rolls over horizontally vertical rolls over, after rolling AM50 distortion magnesium alloy plate is aeolotropy in the structure property. |
