| AM50 are a large amount of magnesium alloys, these alloys are usually in the production and use by die-cating. In order to better develop the application of this material, improve the plastic deformation, it is valuable for combining the plastic deformation technology with die-casting technology to improve the mechanical properties. Therefore, using small mill for vacuum die-casting state AM50 magnesium on multipass rolling, get different total deformation rolling alloy, and then annealing treatment, studied the influence on microstructure and mechanical properties by the rolling treatment and the annealed rolling treatment, it is very significance for guiding the rolling process.The results show that:the magnesium alloys can be processed for multi-pass rolling at room temperature but annealing treatment at 310℃×10min before next the pass are needed, the total reduction can reach 45%. With the increase in total reduction, rolling streamlines are formed gradually, The plasticity and strength of the material are increasing with the deflection arise, combination property is enhanced; With the increasing of temperature, material strength decreased gradually, but the elongation increased significantly, elongation value can reach 31.6%. vacuum die-cast AM50 Magnesium alloy with rolling reduction 20% is not have obvious dynamic recrystallization, vacuum die-cast AM50 Magnesium alloy with rolling reduction 30% at 250℃occurs obvious dynamic recrystallization, the more apparent dynamic recrystallization with rolling reduction 40%, plastic increased significantly. Using SEM to different deformation and rolling AM50 alloys at different temperature stretching fracture morphology observation after finding:With the increasing of temperature, the number of cleavage surfaces gradually decreases, while the number of dimples gradually increases, and more uniform distribution. The specimens of different reduction are annealed at 300℃and 250℃, recrystallization process is not happened at 250℃, but recrystallization process is end when the temperature is 300℃. So the temperature of different rolling alloys happen recrystallization process is 260℃~290℃.Rolling has great influence on the combination property of AM50 magnesium alloys, the average grain size decreases obviously, and the alloy strengthens obviously. |
