Ecological environment is the basis for human survival and development, however, with the fast developing of social economy, the fast increase in population and irrational use of resources, the problems of local ecological environment have become increasingly prominent, the coordinate capacity of the ecosystem itself is declining, it is difficult for the ecosystem to develop healthy, so reflecting the ecosystem health objectively has become one of the hot issues of ecological research.This article is based on the theory of ecology, according to the system design thinking, I determine the technical route of regional ecosystem health research. From the pressure-state-response model, I determine quantitative model and tabular model of ecosystem health assessment. Using the grid, GIS and RS technology, I form a systematic and process-oriented technical system of ecosystem health, this have some theoretical and practical significance for enriching modern ecological theory and the regional environmental protection. The main research results are as follows:(1) The research of index system:Based on the Pressure-state-response (P-S-R) conceptual model, I consider the factors of social, economic, environmental levels, select index factor which has representative and umbrella and form the index system of ecosystem health in two-level:pressure, state, response indicators and rate of land reclamation, population density, road network density, NDVI, biodiversity, soil erosion, vegetation coverage and single factor index of total economic income per capita.(2) The research of evaluation model:Based on index system and the characteristics of Indicator components, I construct a model of ecosystem health system research, that is eight single-factor assessment model such as model of land reclamation rate and population density, weighted model of pressure, state, response and weighted mode of ecosystem health formed by them.(3) Research techniques:According to the established evaluation model of ecosystem health, I use the grid, GIS and RS technology to realize the model technically and construct the research system of ecosystem health based on full grid technology. I use weighted stacking technique for pressure, state, response to count, use density technology for land reclamation rate, population density, road network density, use inverse distance weighted interpolation for total economic income per capita, propose that technical methods about socio-economic data expressed by grid, solve the question of economic data which is from calculation of administrative region to computing unit of grid; I apply analysis of the standard deviation ellipse and analysis of global trend to the field of ecosystem health, reflect trends about different ecosystem health scientific and quantitative, that is benefit to understanding and identification of issues about regional ecosystem health, enrich the theory and methods of ecosystem health.(4) Validation of technical methods:I use Jiang county area ecosystem as research vector, test and verify to technical methodology about ecosystem health. Evaluation results are coincident with the actual environment about Jiang county, prove that the method is correct and operability of technology.
