At present, men's casual wear appears a series of new challenges and opportunities in domestic market. The new trends require the clothing brand to rely on mature, stable design techniques to achieve the distinctive style and brand positioning, which is the object of study in this article—'a personalized brand of men's leisure'. This article bases on integrating two kinds of information of the product style and the sales channels to classify the personalized brand of men's leisure in Shanghai. In terms of the brand style, casual fashion and sport are the two major categories of personalized men's casual wear, but also in accordance with the characteristics of products, each type has the other subdivision. On the basis of the detailed classification to select some typical cases, which are worthy of studying, proceed a long-term follow-up survey. According to the survey, different types of brands of products'planning and design practices are analyzed again. Through comparing the characteristics of different types of products to understand the characteristics of different types of brands in the product mix and product design, and made a number of constructive comments on how to achieve the brand style, stabilize the brand positioning and so on through designing methods.
