It is an effective way of municipal sludge resourceful using to change the municipal sludge into sintered bricks. At present, there are some researches about changing the municipal sludge into sintered bricks, but the problem about air pollution is still existed in the process of making sintered brick. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the mineral additives such as diatomite, zeolite, and medical stone which have absorbability and the biologic deodorant which have transformation, to analyze the deodorization of municipal sludge and the improvement of the products' physical and mechanical performance during to their different kinds and contents, then to find out the additives which not only have the effects of deodorization in the process of changing the municipal sludge into sintered bricks but also have the effects of improve the physical and mechanical performance of products. In this paper, the deodorize effects of the kinds and contents of the mineral additives and biologic deodorant to the municipal sludge are analyzed first, and the better kinds and contents are chosen, then the process effects of mineral additives and biologic deodorant to the municipal sludge are comprehensive analysis, at last the better additives'influences to the physical and mechanical performance of the sintered bricks are analyzed.The main conclusions:(1) The mineral additives such as diatomite, zeolite, and medical stone have the deodorize effects to the municipal sludge, and the best one is diatomite.(2) The different contents of diatomite have the deodorize effects to the municipal sludge, and the more diatomite we increase the better effects it has. But when the contents exceed 10%, the better effects are not obvious. So the best reasonable content is 10% not only better to the economy but also to the effects.(3) The two biologic deodorants also have the deodorize effects to the municipal sludge, and the biologic deodorantâ…¡is better than the biologic deodorantâ… . But the deodorants' deodorize effects is worse than the mineral additives in the first 5 days, the reason is the biologic deodorant need fermentation about one week, the changeable effects of microorganism is not obvious during the ferment time.(4) The deodorize effects of the complex mineral additives and biologic deodorant is better than the single mineral additives or the biologic deodorant. Because the complex mineral additives take advantage of its adsorptive effects of the mineral additives and its transformation of the biologic deodorant to deodorization, both the above achieve the double-effects. And the better constitute is 5% diatomate plus 0.3% of the biologic deodorant II.(5) The complex of the mineral additives and the biologic deodorant has the influences to the physical and mechanical performance of the sintered bricks. The mineral additives has the melting effects, making the liquid phase reactions of the products sufficiently in the sintered process, the products is more dense, the apparent density is larger, the ratio of water absorption is smaller, the compressive strength and the flexural strength in the fixed area increase first and then reduce. The microorganism in biologic deodorant transforms the smelly material and transforms the macromolecular organics into hydromel organics at the same time. So during the baking process, the organics burn sufficiently, leaving more holes, and the apparent density of products is smaller, the water absorption of the products is bigger, the compressive strength and the flexural strength are weaker, but all of them could meet the national relevant standards requirements.
