| Water resources is the basic natural resources and strategic economic resources, which is of significant public interest. With the rapid development of economy and society of Fuhe River basin, water resources in the Fuhe River plays an increasingly prominent role in supporting sustainable economic and social development, Meanwhile maintaining good water eco-environment has become increasingly important. It is necessary to study the ecological water requirement of Fuhe river basin system, for reasonable development, utilization, and protection of the Fuhe River water resources to meet the balance between the economic and social needs and ecological water , as well as for the purpose of creating a good situation between people and water. This paper taking Fuhe river basin for example, introduces empirical analysis and theoretical analysis, typical survey and macro analysis, and quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis to calculate the ecological water requirement of insider and outside of the river channel. Tennant method, the minimum monthly average flow method, the average monthly rate of flow assurance method, the driest month average flow rate assurance method are used to analyze the calculated ecological water requirement within the Fuhe river channel. Through analysis and comparison, 90% of the monthly ecological water requirement within the river channel using the monthly average flow method calculated, and then the ecological water demand of Lijiadu in Fuhe River Basin (67.5×10~8m~3 per year) obtained, which is about of 41.7% of river's average flow (161.8×10~8m~3 per year). Based on the ecological mechanism of water and stream ecological water requirement definition as well as the ecological status and planning objectives of Fuhe river basin water demand, the ecological water demand for the outside of Fuhe river basin stream is 0.359×10~8m~3 by using the direct calculation method. These two research results are analyzed and evaluated in this paper. Besides, this article proposed improvement measures and recommendations on how to strengthen the integrated scheduling management of Fuhe river basin water resources and how to insure the ecological water requirement of Fuhe river downstream. |
