Since the end of 19th century, with social revolution, the western modern art and post-modern art has been conducting on self-renewal and deduction. Meanwhile, accompanied with the western modern art's development, western modern design also present clear development clue. However, China modern art and design which are different from western's emerge entirely different focus of development. Their radical transformation which is out of nothing is determined by Chinese given social environment. The way of China modern art and design used only some decades to achieve the hop skip and jump of varieties of'ideologies'and'thoughts', and the speed is exciting. But what is their intrinsic social foundation and their future development?Since China's reform and opening up to outside world, market economy gradually prospers. The economy development has brought commerical boom and abundance, following by development and gradual maturity in design. We can discover from working on the history of China contemporary design, and it experienced the process of the mixture of imitation, duplication,following and self-innovation. At the same time, it also influenced by Chinese and western, old and modern trains of thoughts, while chinese designers expressed variously characteristics.However, there is the emergence of Avant—Garder:aggressive designer, deserving special attention. They are open-minded and dare to innovate. Their works often get off the beaten track and venture to challenge the authority. Those aggressive designers represent the direction of exploration and forward of China design. Chinese aggressive designers frequently have dual identity which combines designer and artist. Although they stand at the most significant end of the trend, accepting the scrutiny and testing from all sectors of the society, they also become the mixture of all kinds of contradictions. Under such history conditions, it aquires the implications of the research from rationally combing the phenomenon of Chinese aggressive designers:whether this portion of new blood will be the classics or not, which we shall accord our hope to those newborn power, because innovation means development, meanwhile, Chinese spiritual society needs to move forward.The mode of theoretical material analysis, logical reasoning and analysis of works is adopted and the methods such as contrastive studies, questionnaire survey and statistics is employed in the investigation of this article which conducts on the relationship of comtemporary art thoughts and Chinese aggressive designers and the survival condition of design. The investigation discovered that Chinese aggressive designers are more influenced by twentieth-century modernism and post-modernism art movement and the similar art style and representative form can be seen from their works which more abviously can be seen in the effect of the post-modernism art such as deconstruction, dadaism, pop art, installation art, surrealism and so on. It also develops the structural adjustment and the changes of the conditions in Chinese society, which plays a crucially important role in the emergence and development of aggressive designers group.
