It has been an inevitable trend that the modern finite element method and theory of the model analysis are mostly welcomed among the methods and theories of modern designing. And this paper is to mainly study and research a high-precision CNC lathe, CY-k40/550 being attaching an more important to structural configuration amd performance of static and dynamic.Thus, asserting as a hypothesis of dynamic designing in structure of machine,we are to set up and simplify the model in reason; and go further studying and apply into researches comprehensively, systematicly that how to establish the finite model. Therefore, the aboving studies,researches and application, not only do it establish and rebound the performance of the model itself, but also improve the capabilities of working, enhance the precision of processing, moreover, shorten the cycle and reduce the cost of production.The details of this paper as the following:1 Summarize the classification of the methods of the mechanical structure modeling, then study and research status of dynamic designing,lastly point out the deficiencies and limitations still remain and pay a cure attention to the invisible problems.2 Owing to the Pro/E software,establish three-dimensional CAD solid model,with the main components of the lathe. Firstly, taking the model bed for example,discuss the impact of different kinds of classification resulting from analyzing; secondly,should it ignore some trivial details, such as small chamfer, back garden, knife slots, screw holes, and processing convex units,etc; finally, it is to be established.3 As modeling the machine, it successfully tracks integral deformation automatically that the contact element and spring-damper units are used to simulate or represent performance of combination of the noodles (to the further details, the contact element covering the joint of the two surfaces and the spring-damper units simulating the performance of the stiffness and damping of the comibnation).It is also to be verified, as the contact element and spring-damper combining the body and base of the machine.4 It is effective and feasible to analyze the performance of static and dynamic that, on the basis of the modal simplification and combination of the noodles, we successfully deal with the joints separately of base and body, saddle and bed, bed on the pallets and saddle, tailstock and bed, furthermore, establish the finite element model of whole-assembly machine.
