Activated sludge process has been open since, with its continuous improvement in technology and improvement of, at present has developed into the most widely used biological wastewater treatment technologies. But the process appeared in the phenomenon of activated sludge bulking caused by mud and water separation difficult. Activated sludge bulking filamentous bacteria are mainly sludge bulking and non-filamentous sludge bulking. Around 95% of sludge bulking filamentous bacteria are caused by excessive proliferation.
