Research On Plant Black Dyeing Of Yi Minority In Liangshan

Colour can convey information,especially in the research of ethnic folk cultura and color is a good point of entry. This article starts from the study on the family of black color terms and then makes some interpretations about traditional dying black with plant. Some principles of dying black are explored as the main study focus in this article. Based on inheriting plant of Yi minority in Liangshan, I hope that it can give some help to environmental protection of dying. In the first chapter, this paper discusses the rich meanings of black and then explores its expression in art, aesthetic , culture and so on.The second chapter analyzes the process of dying black with plant and summarizes their similarities and differences.The third chapter analyzes the reasons why Yi minority in Liangshang advocate black, and it discusses their unique understanding of black and makes some discussions about its application in daily life.The fourth chapter is the focus of this article. Based on the investigation in the field trips, this chapter describes its technology and then discusses its reason combined with some experimental analysis.This study focuses on traditional plant dying skills, respects local culture, examines the status of this technology and analyzes the its trend. Do hope these techniques have a better development.
