In the new situation of economic globalization, modern machinery manufacturing becomes to automation, integration, intelligence and advanced manufacturing mode, and numerical control machining simulation technology in advanced manufacturing is becoming increasingly important. Beside the development of CNC machine interface system, more and more demands is put forward, and the tool track display systems has become an important part of numerical control system. Under this circumstance a number of key technologies of the multi-axis NC machining simulation process are reseached and implemented, the details is as follows:First, a three-dimensional solid model is developed to model the blank. This conversion method transforms the boundary model to the three-dimensional Dexel solid model and the surfaces of each entity in the environment are discreted, that is the foundation of tool swept volume cut the blanks;Second, the tool swept volume of the boundary model is generated by tool trajectory, which is important and difficulty part of the system. Since accurate method for solving the complexity of real-time nature can not meet the requirements, a decomposition of the approximation method is used;Finally, according to the data obtained from each cutting, the system uses HOOPS graphics component technology to rander the process of dynamic display after the realization of PC and CNC machine communication devices. The system also uses the partial refresh algorithm combined with the HOOPS key frames technology. Then data processing and graphics refresh rate is greatly improved to ensure the continuity and integrity of the graphics rendering.
