Centralized lubrication system for chassis is an important device which provides grease for a lot of lubrication points of chassis. With the continued development of this technology, it has been accepted widely. Compare with dispersed adding grease, this system has many benefits. Such as it can automatic timing and quantification add grease, accurate amount of adding grease, and reliable lubrication. Therefore, this system has been widely used in the public transport vehicles, buses, military vehicles, as well as some non-highway vehicles.According to the construction and working characteristic of this system, combining the special driving conditions and the practical problems such as wear sharply and low-temperature pumping is difficult, to analysis and determine requirements of the chassis grease lubrication system. We developed a kind of saponification process in the laboratory, and by studying the sensitivity between grease and additives and the compatibility between additives to determine the optimum formula of additives. We developed special grease for centralized lubrication of chassis with good pumping and low-temperature performance.Contented the demand of performance of the dedicated grease, referred interrelated professional data, chose the appropriate thickerner, designed formula scheme by orthogonal design, through a mount of evaluating targets study the ratio between components of grease, processed and analyzed the experiment tests, and fixed on proportion of components and saponification process. Meanwhile we study the sensitivity between grease and additives and the compatibility between additives, then according to the results of experiments, fixed on various additives and theirs adding amount. We fixed on the best formula scheme of centralized lubrication dedicated grease for chassis in the end. Then, compared the developed grease with the grease that chose as the contrast in performance targets in the lab, it indicates that developed grease are superior to the contrast one on important experiment targets, such as pumping, low-temperature performance and extreme pressure and anti-wear property. It indicates that the developed grease can satisfy special requests of the system.
