Applied Research On 24- Hour Living And Ecological Product Design

As the rapid deterioration of global ecological environment has become a major crisis with regard to human survival and development in the 21st century, it has also become the focus of the international community. The Copenhagen Climate Conference, which closed in the December 19th, 2009, discussed a range of issues, such as global ecological damage, climate warming, resource shortages and environmental pollution, all of which are caused by random development and use of natural resources. Although the conference has concluded, it was wound up so hastily that all the countries did not reach a satisfactory agreement on the environment problem. This is worthy of our reflection, especially as a research industrial designer.Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher said: " Britain can be no Margaret Thatcher. But could not do without (industrial) design " As an agency to contact production and life, industrial products should be responsible for the current environment issues. Eco-product design has naturally become a necessary requirement for sustainable development of society.Greece Prof. Dr. Mohammed has talked about how to protect the environment: " Study this subject deeply to extensively explore a more healthy, environmentally friendly, appropriate and humane way of life." Eco-product design, using environmental characteristics as a target and life-cycle assessment as a tool, considers the entire life cycle product-related eco-environmental problems. Based on domestic and foreign scholars in the ecological product design , this article analyzes how to design products not only environmentally friendly, but also meeting customers'needs, and how to achieve the ecological product life to make consumers eco-design advocates, and thus gradually form an ecological culture throughout the society.The study includes the following aspects:â‘ I made theoretical analysis on Ecological product design to explore the difference between it and the traditional design, and then made quantitative or qualitative analysis of living stables in order to redesign them to be eco-products and encourage consumers to gradually develop the habit of using eco-products as eco-design advocates;â‘¡According to analysis above, I put forward the concept that use "market consumption" to promote "industrial production." By raising awareness of consumers to use eco-products, the sustainable consumer market can be formed, so as to promote enterprise to develop eco-products, make production join the ecological chain, and achieve sustainable development of society;â‘¢Based on theoretical research, analysis of a large number of cases and own design practice ,I advanced a series of thoughts and methods of eco-product design to realize eco-products common.â‘£Based on the preceding discussion and analysis, I further summed up the eco-product design methods, put forward the forecast of the topic and the direction of personal research , and eventually arrived at the conclusion of this study.
