Research On Inner Mongolia Ecological Migration

Inner Mongolia grassland ecological environment is getting worse from the end of 20 century, with frequent dust storms even shocking people around the world. In response to this, the nation implement a series of imperative measures to Inner Mongolia grassland ecological environment. "ecological migration" is one of the national environmental policy implementation.With the implementation of this policy, the domestic academia carried out discussions on the importance of implementing, the current situation of the implementation of this policy and the consequences , achieving many positive research results. However, in the migration process, there existed some situations deviating from the objective laws of the survival and development of Inner Mongolia grasslands, , ignoring the interests of nomads living and producing in Inner Mongolia from generation to generation.This paper , taking Orug village for example, is focused on the issues about whether migration should be required, who the object of migration is, how the reconstruction after migration is, making certain the living conditions of nomads, the main body of Inner Mongolia patoral areas, and the relationship between nomads and the ecological envierenment where they live. this paper also demonstrates the strategic meaning of the existing and developing of traditional grassland stockraising to our region especially to our nation in an attempt to draw a full attention to Inner Mongolia grasslands and change those misconceptions contrary to the objective laws they had before. Consequently, this paper aims at improving the living condition of masses of nomads living on grassland stockraising, providing references to the national "ecological migration policy"in order to put it forward effectively by contributing my meager strenth.
