Design, build and properties research of new structural bridged compound have been a hot study field of chemist over the world, because of bridged complex possessing various configurable character and potential application value as function materials. One of the most effective strategy in designing and building 0D, 1D, 2D and 3D bridged complexes is the"complex as building block"approach. Phenoloxo, carboxyl and oxamido can chelate and bridge metal ions to construct complex, which distributing must be proper in order to form stable compounds and change the property of metal ion to a certain extent in designing and systhesizing ligand. Looking forward to obtaining some function complex.Based above reason and the view of molecular design, we have designed and synthesized four ligands and their metal complex, and their crystal structure, IR spectra, UV-Vis spectra, luminescence and magnetic property have been studied. The main content as following:1.Through condensing triethylenetetramine and 3-carboxysalicylidene, one new Schiff base ligand H6L1 [H6L1 = 3,3',3''-(1E,1'E,1''E)-(2,2',2''-nitrilotris(ethane-2,1- diyl)tris(azan-1-yl-1-ylidene))tris(methan-1-yl-1-ylidene)tris(2-hydroxybenzoic acid)], using their NiL precursor as building block, we have synthesized Ni(II)-Ln(III)( Ln = Pr, Sm, Gd, Ho, Er and Tb) heterohexanuclear complexes. Their crystal structures have been determined by X-ray analysis. These complexes have fluorescence emission spectra, and their magnetic coupling are antiferromagnetic.2.The ligand H4L2 [H4L2 = 3,3'-(1E,1'E)-(2,2'-(2-aminoethylazanediyl)bis (ethane-2,1-diyl)bis(azan-1-yl-1-ylidene))bis(methan-1-yl-1-ylidene)bis(2-hydroxybenzoic acid)] was synthesized, and based on this ligand we have obtained two complex. Their structures and properties have been researched.3.The ligand H2L3 [H2L3 = (E)-3-((2-(bis(2-aminoethyl)amino)ethylimino)methyl) -2-hydroxybenzoic acid] was obtained from triethylene tetramine and 3-carboxy salicylidene. Using its mononuclear complex NiL3 with complex NiL1, we have gotten one dinuclear complex, we researched the crystal structure and its properties.4.Via condensing ethyl oxalyl chloride, 2-aminothiazole-4-yl)acetic acid and 1,2-ethylenediamine, a new ligand H2L4 [H2L4 = 2-(2-(2-(2-aminoethylamino)-2- oxoacetamido) thiazol-4-yl)acetic acid] has been synthesized. One complex was obtained and its structure and properties have been discussed.
