| 4A zeolite is a cage-structural sodium-aluminosilicate crystal with several special features, such as ions-exchange property, detergency-reprecipitation property, surface absorption property and so on. It is the globally preferred non-phosphate detergent builders.This thesis mainly discussed the 4A zeolite synthesis process taking the alumina crude liquor as the raw material. And the influences of several parameters on products' properties (CEC, grain size, colority and crystal phase) were discussed in the synthesis process. The optimum process conditions were obtained and industrial applied successfully. The optimum process conditions were as follows:homogenization temperature ranging from 50 to 65℃; the addition quantity of lime milk about 1%o to 3%o; the addition quantity of crystalline directors approximatelyl%o to 2%o(volume percent); crystallization temperature at 75 to 80℃; the crystallization time about 2h.After optimization, qualified 4A zeolite could be industrial produced with the synthesis process from alumina crude. Compared with the production from alumina refined liquor, this method could reduce aluminum source cost; the silicon dioxide of crude alumina liquor could be utilized effectively also. Thus, the silicon source cost was reduced at the same time. The cost of the raw material could be reduced 97¥/ t-zeolite in all. Although the crude liquor refining cost was 23 Y, the production cost of 4A zeolite was reduced 74¥/t-zeolite. This production technology shows obvious economic benefit.The results of the library and industrial experiments showed this production technology of 4A zeolite from alumina crude was feasible and obvious economic benefit had been made. This research had introduced one breakthrough of the 4A zeolite production process that grafts in alumina procedure. |
